The adversary is always advancing you perpetually to get you out of alignment or agreement with God. From the time Jesus was born he was under siege. Someone was always looking for Him to attempt to kill Him. It was the Holy Spirit along with the Heavenly Hosts that lead Him out of every circumstance. When we follow the leading of the Holy Spirit He will always keep our path pointed in the direction of the Kingdom.
The Holy Spirit is our guide straight back to the Kingdom of Heaven. If we follow Him in obedience there is no doubt about our destination. It is like getting on the right plane or train you know where you are fully aware of your destination. This journey called life would be so much more delightful if we learn to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. Trusting always in the Lord God. Our ultimate desire will be fulfilled. We would make it to our heavenly home. God tells us to delight ourselves in the Lord.
Psalm 37:4 (KJV)
“4Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.”
Delight does not only mean to be happy or joyful. In Hebrew delight also means to be pliable. When you are pliable you are flexible. Your heart must be flexible to receive the leading of the Holy Spirit. Which means you must surrender your pseudo-control. When we surrender ourselves to God, He promises to give us the desires of our heart. We must renew our minds in order to be able to ascend unto the Holy Hills.
Psalm 24:3-4 (KJV)
“3Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?
4He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.”
To renew your mind means to adjust your moral, spiritual vision and thinking to that of God’s and heavens operations. You must let go of the world’s perceptions of life and receive the wisdom of God through His Word. You must seek to know His Kingdom’s operations before you will ever get there.
Romans 12:2 (KJV)
“2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
Seeking to know the King (The Father) before you arrive to the Kingdom is literally how you get in. The Holy Spirit is your guaranteed travel guide.
